Not every stop needs a plaque. Paris is where 5=3 began โ€” the very first hand-cut, glazed ceramic plaque went up on a wall there, back in May 2024. In 2026, back in the city, I left something different this time: stickers, added to a wall already covered in years of other people's street art.

Stickers ask so little of a place โ€” no wall to drill into, no glue that has to survive the weather the way a ceramic piece in Basel once had to. Anyone can print a set of their own and leave them wherever feels right, the same way I added mine to that wall. It's a smaller cousin of the fifty formulas project, too โ€” another way of letting "5=3" travel further than my own two hands ever could alone.

So the stickers stayed on that wall in Paris โ€” one more quiet trace, layered onto a city that already carries the very first one.
